Tania Aria is a highly experienced international development professional with over 12 years in project management and business development. Her career has taken her across the U.S., Moldova, Rwanda, Afghanistan, and India, where she has successfully managed economic growth and business development projects for major clients, including USAID, the World Bank Group, and other international development organizations. Her areas of expertise encompass public governance and reforms, private sector development, trade facilitation, investment promotion, women's economic empowerment, and sustainable tourism.
Currently, Tania is a Senior Associate in Trade and Investment at Cadmus, where she serves as Project Director for the Moldova Institutional and Structural Reform Activity (MISRA). This USAID-funded initiative aims to foster sustainable and inclusive recovery from the regional crisis caused by the war in Ukraine and enhance Moldova's institutional, business, and trade environment. In addition to her project leadership role, Tania contributes to Cadmus's business development and provides technical expertise in SME strengthening and women’s economic empowerment.
Before joining Cadmus, Tania was a Project Management Specialist with USAID in Afghanistan, where she led economic growth projects focused on export promotion, workforce development, policy reforms, and improving the business enabling environment. She is a recipient of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship from the UK government and holds a master’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Southampton.
