DAI works on the frontlines of global development. Transforming ideas into action—action into impact. Since 1970, we have worked in more than 150 countries—from stable societies and high-growth economies to challenging environments racked by conflict. We work with a wide range of clients, including national and local governments, bilateral and multilateral donors, private corporations, and philanthropies. We tackle fundamental development problems caused by inefficient markets, ineffective governance, and instability. DAI advises economic and fiscal authorities on implementing holistic approaches to financing their development priorities, including helping them boost domestic tax revenue, maximizing efficiency and transparency of public spending, and partnering with the private sector to stimulate investment and inclusive growth. We draw upon a diverse group of in-house experts to provide governments with what they need to fairly and efficiently tax, spend, and disclose fiscal data to the public.
