Janine Mans

Janine Mans is a Senior Governance Advisor on the Governance Team of USAID’s Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, where she supports programming and learning related to public financial management (PFM), anti-corruption, and fiscal transparency. She has more than 15 years of experience in PFM, transparency and accountability, institutional capacity building, economic policy, and program management.  Before joining USAID, she worked in the Economic Policy and Governance Unit of Nathan Associates, at Jack Faucett Associates on US domestic policy issues, at the World Bank on PFM reforms in Central and Eastern Africa, and as a municipal development volunteer for the Peace Corps in Mali.  Janine is proficient in French, and holds a master’s degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BS in Economics and Political Science from Santa Clara University (SCU).
