Hon. Henry Ariganyira Musasizi is the Minister of State for Finance, Planning and Economic Development (General Duties) in the Republic of Uganda; the duties he has performed since 2021. Henry is a Member of the Parliament of Uganda from 2011 to date representing Rubanda East Constituency.
Between 2011- 2021, Hon. Musasizi was Chairperson Committee on Finance Planning and Economic Development Parliament of Uganda, Member of Business Committee Parliament of Uganda, Member of Presidential Advisory Committee on Budget, Member of Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Member of Budget Committee Parliament of Uganda, Member of the Public Accounts Committee (Central Government)
Prior to joining Government Henry was a Partner of AHMHE Associates Certified Public Accountants 2012-2015, he also worked at the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) Uganda as a Regional Accountant in 2009-2010, AMREF Uganda Project Accountant 2007-2009 andCARITAS Kabale Dioceseas an Accountant 2006-2007.
Henry has been a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda since 2011. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University – Edinburgh Business School and Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University.
Hon. Musasizi has held other responsibilities including; Member of Kigezi Parliamentary Forum, Chairman Kabale District Roads Committee, Vice Chairman Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Youth Affairs and Treasurer Kabale Parliamentary Forum.
Henry has made various presentations at both International and National fora. He has also received various accolades from the Parliament, Community organizations and former schools.
