Darrell Freund

Darrell Freund has 25 years of experience in the fields of public sector management and good governance reform, public financial management and economic policy reform, institutional strengthening, enhancing intergovernmental relations and decentralization reform, and improving the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluating of service delivery for national and sub-national governments. He has provided technical advice to over 30 governments in the Pacific, Asia, Africa, and the United States. Mr. Freund has offered technical consulting services to the ASEAN Secretariat based in Jakarta, multilateral organizations such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, bilateral organizations like USAID, AusAID/DFAT, GIZ, and DfID, and post-conflict missions such as the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI) Machinery of Government Program (MOG). He has led large technical assistance teams for the World Bank in Mongolia and Tajikistan. Mr. Freund holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
