WYG International (WYGI) is a leading UK management and development consultancy, and part of the WYG plc group. The company currently employs some 650 people worldwide and has project management experience in over 120 countries.

WYGI was incorporated in the 1990's when the company was a major implementer of social and economic regeneration programmes to mitigate the worst effects of industrial restructuring and economic decline in the fast-changing economies of Central and Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union. At the time, these programmes were the largest EU investment initiative of their kind in Europe. WYGI has since become a major technical assistance provider in the field of socio-economic development, with a record of more than 300 successfully completed assignments covering most of central and east Europe, Asia, the Pacific, China, the Balkans, the Middle East and Africa. Clients have included the ADB, DfID, EU, UNDP and World Bank.

WYGI comprises ten practice areas; each led by experienced consultants, specialists and project managers. The Public Financial Management (PFM) practice has a wide-ranging and in-depth knowledge of all levels of the financial management cycle - planning, budget preparation, budget execution and treasury, accounting, financial control and audit, and supporting strategies, including accounting standards IT, training, human resource and change management. The experience of the PFM practice ranges from diagnostic reports and project formulation, through to the design, acquisition and implementation of integrated financial management systems, and has been gained in economies in transition and in developing countries, as well as with multilateral donor organisations themselves.
