The
International Consortium sponsors a learning forum and luncheon the first Wednesday of each month from January through June, and from
September through December, at The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Sessions begin at 11:45 and details can be found on the Upcoming Events page. Summaries of the presentations and question-and-answer periods
which follow are published on the ICGFM blog
The first forum
was held on February 6, 1985 in the dining room of the Comptroller
General of the United States. The purpose of these monthly
luncheon presentations is to permit those persons interested
in improving public sector financial management and the
quality of the financial information produced by governments
to meet, make presentations, communicate, share ideas, learn
what's going on across the world and network in general.
Those who attend are from the IFI's, U.S. government agencies,
consulting firms, universities, individual international
consultants and representatives of our international member
organizations who may be visiting, working in Washington,
D.C. or have come by special invitation to make a presentation.
